With its narrow streets, beautiful church and small shops, bars and restaurants, S'Horta is a true Majorcan village. For those who enjoy hiking or cycling, this is a paradise because the charming village is close to some of the best sights on the island. The 14th century Sanctuary of la Mare de Deu de Sant Salvador and Castell de Santueri offer superb views over the island, while the nearby hamlet of Calonge has a variety of shops and superb restaurants. For beaches, S'Horta is just as convenient. One of Majorca's finest sandy coves, Cala Sa Nau, is a favourite of the locals, while the busier resorts and superb waters of Cala D'or and Porto Colom are just down the road.
